Our Beginnings

Farnborough Animal Action first began its journey back in August of 2016, when a group of young local animal rights activist began to move from street outreach and into a more direct action-based approach of activism, To highlight the plight of farmed animals on the way to slaughter in the hopes that the footage we obtain would be a driving force for others to start on their vegan journey.

In the beginning, we were known as 'Farnborough Vigils' and many still refer to us by this name, in 2019 we changed our name to Farnborough Animal Action to be able to diversify the types of activism we organise such as street outreach within Farnborough.

Our Mission

Our mission is clear, we want to help create a world where all animals have equal moral consideration and are considered “persons” not “property”. Which will ultimately lead to the total abolition of all forms of animal exploitation

We aim to do this by coming face to face with the victims of the animal exploiting industries and sharing these experiences and footage with the local communities around us through street activism and direct action.
